Record grain harvest in Ukraine contributes to increase exports

According to the Ministry of agrarian policy, on December 4, with 99% of the area, or 14.6 million hectares of domestic agrarians harvested 69.3 million t of grain with productivity of 4.74 t/ha.

34.1 million MT of corn with 97% of the area, or 4.4 million hectares with a yield of 7.7 t/ha,

136 thousand tons of buckwheat with 99% of the area or 108 thousand hectares with a yield of 1.26 t/ha,

78 thousand tons of millet with 98% of the area or 51 thousand hectares with a yield of 1.54 t/ha.

• 34.3 million tons of early grain and leguminous crops from 9.9 million hectares with a yield of 3.48 t/ha,

Also contains:

the

4.4 million tons of soybeans with 99% of the area or 1.7 million hectares with a yield of 2.58 t/ha,

2.7 million tonnes of rapeseed from the area of 1 million hectares with a yield of 2.61 t/ha,

13.5 million tons of sugar beets 98% of area, or 274 thousand hectares with a yield of 49.4 t/ha.

• 13.8 million tons of sunflower seeds with 99.8% of the area or 6 million hectares with a yield of 2.28 t/ha,

2018/19 MG as of December 5, Ukraine exported 19.1 million tons, which is 9.2% higher than in the same period last year.
