Early grain harvested in Ukraine is 80% of the area
As of July 30, Ukraine with 8 million hectares or 80% of the area produced 29.7 mln tonnes of early grain and leguminous crops, in particular:
barley, 2.2 million ha or 84% of the area, collected 7.2 million tons with a yield of 3.31 t/ha,
peas from 249 thousand hectares or 95% of the area collected 569 thousand tons with a yield of 2.29 t/ha,
rye from 48.6 thousand hectares or 40% of the area collected 154,4 thousand tons with a yield of 2.71 t/ha,
oats – from 24 thousand hectares or 13% of the area gathered 60 thousand tons with a yield of 2.49 t/ha.
- wheat – from 5.6 million hectares or 84.7% of the area collected 22.6 million tons with a yield of 4.02 t/ha,
in addition, from 1.22 million hectares or 97% of the area harvested of 2.99 million tonnes of winter rapeseed with a yield of 2.45 t/ha.
In Russia as of 30 July from 14.9 million hectares and produced 51.3 million tons of grain and leguminous crops with a productivity of 3.45 t/ha, while on this date last year from 11 million hectares have been collected 39.4 million tonnes of grain with a yield of 3.6 t/ha.
Barley, 1.8 million hectares harvested 5.8 million tons with a yield of 3.28 t/ha (in 2018 with 960,2 thousand hectares were collected to 2.9 million tons with a yield of 3.01 t/ha).
Winter rape with of 145, 4 thousand hectares harvested 319,9 thousand tons with a yield of 2.2 t/ha (in 2018 with 131,5 thousand hectares were collected 247,9 thousand tons with a yield of 1.89 t/ha).
- Wheat from 12 million hectares and produced 43.5 million tons with a yield of 3.63 t/ha (in 2018 from 9.1 million hectares were collected 34 million tons with a yield of 3.74 t/ha).
