Wheat markets await USDA report
on Tuesday growth of quotations of soft wheat in Chicago continued, but it was mostly speculative. Investors awaited the release of the forecast balance of the USDA for the new season, which will likely be significantly reduced ending stocks for the United States and the world in General.
September futures us wheat grew:
- at 1.10 $/t to 203,19 $/t for SRW soft winter-wheat in Chicago
- 0.09 $/t to 204,84 $/t for solid winter HRW wheat in Kansas city
Fell to 0.28 $/t to 292,75 $/t hard spring HRS wheat in Minneapolis.
Quotes of French wheat on Tuesday, almost unchanged. Chikashige growth of trading no impact, as at the close of the European exchanges quotes SRW wheat was down. While it is unknown how powerful rains in the EU has influenced the new crop.
