Pro Farmer confirmed the forecast of a record corn harvest in the USA
the results of the Pro Farmer Crop tour show that the average yield of U.S. corn will be 170,2 bushels/acre, which will allow to collect a record 14,718 billion bushels. This estimate was slightly below the August forecast, USDA, in which the yield was estimated at 175,1 bushels/acre (or 109.9 kg/ha) and gross yield of 15.53 billion bushels or 384,9 million.
In the season 2015/16, the average yield of corn amounted to 105.7 kg/ha and the gross harvest of 345,5 million.
On the Chicago stock exchange the prices of corn are gradually reduced and on Friday to 127,75 $/ton.
it is Expected that in the short term, the reduction in forecast corn production relative to assessment, USDA will provide some support to prices.
