The Southern Port has been opened for the entry and exit of ships, while other ports are operating subject to weather and safety conditions.
The Southern Port has been opened for the entry and exit of vessels, and work in the port area is being carried out taking into account the necessary safety measures and relevant restrictions, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration reports.
Oily spots were also recorded in the waters of the port of Chornomorsk. All relevant services are involved in the elimination of the consequences of enemy shelling in both waters (the port of Chornomorsk and the port of Pivdennyi), specialized vessels and oil recovery vessels are working.
According to the USPA, other Black Sea ports operate taking into account weather and security conditions.
On Wednesday, December 24, oily spots were recorded on the surface of the water in the Black Sea in the Odessa region, which appeared due to damage to tanks with sunflower oil as a result of Russian attacks. Part of the vegetable oil got onto the territory of the enterprise, the roadway, into the estuary with further access to the sea. Therefore, the water area of the Pivdenny port was temporarily closed.
