South Korea purchased over 130,000 tons of corn at a higher price than two weeks ago

According to European traders, the South Korean Feed Manufacturers Association (KFA) purchased about 132,000 tons of feed corn of any origin at an international tender on December 9.

The following lots were purchased at the auction:

• 67 thousand tons from Mitsu at a price of $256.84/ton C&F with delivery by March 15, 2026,
• 65 thousand tons from the Agrex trading house at a price of $255/ton C&F with delivery by April 10, 2026.

Recall that two weeks ago, the South Korean Feed Manufacturers Association (KFA) bought 68,000 tons of American corn for delivery in March at a price of $248.9/ton C&F, while on November 18 it was buying American corn at a price of $252.48/ton C&F.
