South Korea awarded 50,000 tons of milling wheat in tender

According to Reuters, a group of South Korean processors purchased 50,000 tons of milling wheat from the United States from United Grain Corporation in a tender on February 13, with delivery from June 1 to 30 on an FOB basis.
The following lots were purchased at the auction:
- 27 thousand tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with protein 9.5-11% at a price of $234.71/ton,
- 0.855 thousand tons of soft white wheat (SWW) with protein up to 9% at a price of $246.83/ton,
- 8,375 thousand tons of hard red wheat (HRW) with protein above 11.5% at a price of $251.78/ton,
- 13.77 thousand tons of northern dark spring wheat (DNS) with protein above 14% at a price of $268.96/ton.
South Korean flour mills also purchased 40,000 tons of Canadian-produced wheat.
