After the closure of the ports, the queues of trucks at the border increased sharply, with the largest number at the Polish border.

Against the backdrop of the blockade of the ports of Greater Odessa, Ukrainian exporters have intensified road transportation of goods across the western borders, which has increased the load at checkpoints and led to the formation of queues, latifundist reports.

According to the Association of International Freight Forwarders of Ukraine, as of August 6, 4,948 trucks were waiting to leave Ukraine in the eQueue system, of which 87% or 4,306 vehicles were concentrated on the border with Poland.

The highest load was recorded at the following checkpoints:

• Yagodyn – Dorohusk – queue of 1357 cars, estimated waiting time 6 days 11 hours,
• Sheghini – Medika (for empty trucks weighing over 3.5 tons) – queue of 492 cars, waiting time 4 days 18 hours,
• Sheghini – Medika (for trucks weighing over 7.5 tons) – queue of 374 cars, waiting time 4 days 9 hours,
• Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne – queue of 430 cars, waiting time 2 days 14 hours,
• Orlivka – Isakcha (border with Romania) – queue of 308 cars, waiting time 2 days 16 hours.

In total, queues of trucks were recorded at 38 border crossings with five neighboring countries.
