The volume of grain exports from Ukraine in the current season has already exceeded last year's figure

According to operational data of the State Customs Service, in 2023/24 MR (as of May 17) Ukraine exported 44.214 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, in particular in May - 2.856 million tons, while last year on this date 43.952 million tons of these products were exported. in particular, in May - 2.066 million tons. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

So, in 2023/24 MR, the following was exported:

• wheat - 16.613 million tons (of which in May - 835 thousand tons),
• barley - 2.329 million tons (127 thousand tons),
• rye - 1.3 thousand tons (0.1 thousand tons),
• corn - 24.788 million tons (1.888 million tons).

At the same time, the volume of flour exports on the specified date decreased compared to the corresponding period last year from 135.1 to 89.9 thousand tons (of which 3.2 thousand tons in May), in particular wheat - to 84.9 thousand tons (in May 2 .9 thousand tons).
