$465 million will be allocated for state grants to farmers for the development of gardens and greenhouses in 2026

From February 2, the Ministry of Economy will resume accepting applications from farmers for state grants to create gardens and greenhouses, the press service of the department reports.

The 2026 budget includes $465 million for this program, and companies registered in the State Agrarian Register can apply through the Diya portal.

Grants for the development of gardens are provided for planting and arranging plantations with an area of 1 to 25 hectares. The maximum amount of assistance per recipient is 10 million UAH, but not more than 400 thousand UAH per hectare.

State support for greenhouse farms can be obtained for the construction of modular greenhouses with an area of 0.4 to 2.4 hectares.

The amount of assistance depends on the project area:

  • 0.4–0.6 hectares — up to 2 million UAH;
  • 0.8–1.2 hectares — up to 3.5 million UAH;
  • 1.6–2.4 hectares — up to 7 million UAH.

The state can cover up to 80% of the cost of projects created in frontline and deoccupied territories.

The projects will be implemented on land plots whose ownership or use has been confirmed for at least seven years.

We remind you that in 2025, within the framework of this program, the state allocated 69 grants worth UAH 438.4 million, in particular, for the development of horticulture - UAH 268.1 million, and for the construction of greenhouses - UAH 170.3 million.
