China is increasing the volume of purchases of Ukrainian grain

In season 2019/20 Ukraine sharply increased grain exports to China. According to APK-inform, during the 10 months of the current season in this direction exported 4.1 million tons of wheat, corn and barley, which is 20% higher than the corresponding figure 2018/19 Mr.

thus, in comparison with the previous season, the export volume of corn to China in July-April 2019/20 MG increased by 6% from 3.1 to 3.3 million tonnes, which is 47% of the projected corn imports by China, which the USDA estimates 2019/20 Mr 7 million tonnes, which is 56% higher than the import 2018/19 Mr – 4.5 million tons.

at the same time the export of Ukrainian barley in China, which is the third consecutive season ranked in the TOP 5 of its main buyers in the period increased by 2.5 times to 798,5 of 321.9 thousand tons, and wheat exports – 12.5 times with 1.2 thousand tons up to 15 tons

According to Gostamsluzhby Ukraine, China became the largest trading partner of Ukraine in the 1st quarter of 2020 as the volume of exports of goods from Ukraine to China have almost doubled to 1,253 billion $, while imports decreased by 5.2% to 1,907 billion $.
