The Cabinet of Ministers abolished the compulsory quarantine certificates for internal movement of grain

Cabinet of Ministers resolution No. 829 of 16.11.16 approved the amendments to the previous decree № 705 from 12.05.16 and recognition of some resolutions of the Government such that has lost force, reported on the government website. It is expected that this decision will simplify doing business in the agricultural industry.

in Particular, the said decree approves the list of objects that are subject to regulation on plant quarantine to control the movement on the territory of Ukraine with the purpose of the import, export or re-export. In addition, we have determined a list of forms of quarantine and phytosanitary certificates.

Henceforth, in the event of movement of the grain or its processed products in the country to issue quarantine certificates is not required. Additionally makes an exception to the need to obtain a quarantine import permit (transit).
