Jordan purchased the planned amount of wheat in the tender
According to market participants, the Jordanian state agency MIT purchased, as planned, 120 thousand tons of food wheat of any origin in an international tender on February 10 in two batches of 60 thousand tons each from operators Cargill and Buildcom at a price of $264.5/ton C&F.
The first of the specified batches must be delivered to the buyer between May 1-15, the second between May 16-31, 2026.
Wheat was also offered at the tender by Ameropa (at a price of $269/t), Bunge (at $272/t), and CHS (at $266.85/t).
Recall that in an international tender in January, the state agency MIT purchased 60 thousand tons (out of the planned 120 thousand tons) of food wheat of any origin from COFCO with delivery to the port of Aqaba on April 16-30, 2026 at a price of $261.25/ton C&F.
