According to market operators, Jordan's state buyer MIT purchased 60 thousand tons (out of the planned 120 thousand tons) of food wheat of any origin from COFCO in an international tender on January 20 for delivery to the port of Aqaba on April 16-30, 2026 at a price of $261.25/ton C&F.
Wheat was also offered at the tender by operators Ameropa ($265.37/t), Cargill ($266.74/t), and CHS ($263.89/t).
We remind you that on December 9, 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan purchased 60 thousand tons of milling wheat of any origin at a tender at a price of $263/ton C&F with shipment on February 16-28, 2026.
