Jordan purchased 50,000 tons of new crop barley at a price $32/ton lower than it purchased the old crop last week

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan purchased 50,000 tons of feed barley from CHS in an international tender on February 18, with delivery in the second half of June at a price of $251.5/ton C&F.

At the same time, to ensure stable grain supplies to state reserves in the coming months, the country announced a new tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of feed barley.

Recall that at the international tender on February 11 (where it was planned to purchase 120 thousand tons of barley), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan purchased 50 thousand tons of barley from the Ameropa company with shipment on May 1-15 at a price of $284/ton C&F Aqaba.
