Informa increased its estimate of the corn crop in the United States

Experts of the Agency Informa Economics increased its estimate of the corn crop in the U.S. in 2017 from 14,077 to 14,166 billion bushels, after the revised USDA report the acreage, which was released last week. Area for harvest of corn valued at 83,496 million acres.

 

this evaluation yields reduced from 170 bushels/acre in mid-June to 169,7 bushels/acre.

 

soybean Production in the US in 2017 will be 4,253 billion bushels, which is nearly equal to forecast in mid-June in 4,255 billion bushels. Area for harvest is estimated at 88,731 million acres, the forecast yield decreased from 48 to 47.9 bushels/acre.

 

wheat Production will amount to 1,783 billion bushels, including winter wheat – 1,281 billion bushels, spring – 434 million bushels, durum 67 million bushels.

 

on Wednesday, USDA will publish new forecasts of the crop in 2017. The report 09.06.17 production of winter wheat is estimated at 1.25 billion bushels, and total wheat – 1,824 billion bushels. Corn will be collected 14,065 billion bushels with an average yield 170,7 bushels/acre and soybeans – 4,255 billion bushels with an average yield 48,0 bushels/acre.

 

For EU countries, the forecast of wheat production in June reduced from 150 million tonnes to 148 million tonnes due to lack of moisture.

 

Estimate of the corn crop in Brazil in the season 2016/17 MG June increased from 96 million tons to 97 million tons.
