IGC increased the forecast of world wheat stocks in the 2017/18 season

Analysts IGC has increased the estimate of world ending wheat stocks in 2017/18 MG for 7 million tons to 248 million tons, given the record of the final remnants of the 2016/17 season, and a significant volume of proposals in the new season.

Increasing adjustment relates mainly to the black sea countries, and, above all, Russia. According to experts, the export of wheat from the black sea region in the 2017/18 season, for the first time in history exceed 90 million tonnes, however this does not exclude the logistical problem.

the Forecast carryover stocks of wheat in major exporting countries at the end of the season 2017/18 increased by 4 million tonnes to 69 million tonnes, which is 8 million tons less than the previous season.
