European wheat rises in price, and the us continues to become cheaper

Wednesday on the Chicago stock exchange the fall in the price of wheat continued. For three trading sessions the September agreement of soft wheat fell by 8.45 $/ton.

 market is pressured fundamental factors: the largest in the last 25 years, the wheat crop in Canada and the growth of wheat production in Ukraine.

As of August 24, prices of American wheat had the following dynamics:

• fell 1.38 $/tonne to 148,44 $/ton soft wheat SRW in Chicago
• has grown on 0,18 $/tonne to 149,82 $/tonne hard wheat HRW in Kansas city
• dropped by 5.14 $/tonne to 184,36 $/t hard spring wheat HRS in Minneapolis.

the Forecast of French Agency Agritel regarding the drop in season 2016/17 MG volume of wheat exports from the EU by 30 per cent to 24 million tonnes resulted in a strengthening market at the grain exchange for 2.5 euros.

• September milling wheat quotations on the MATIF in Paris are at the level of 158,50 Euro/tone or 178,66 $/ton.
