The European Commission will not allocate financial aid to EU countries that do not cancel the ban on grain imports from Ukraine

The European Commission announced yesterday that Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria will not be able to receive the financial aid proposed by the European Commission unless they cancel the restrictions on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.

Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that "the European Commission took into account the opinions of all participants in the negotiations. In the coming days, political consultations will continue so that the problem that has arisen can be solved as soon as possible."

At the same time, the European Commission emphasizes the importance of applying a joint approach of the EU, rather than unilateral decisions of individual countries, which may lead to the emergence of new restrictions and create risks for the internal European market.
