The export of agricultural products in November amounted to 53% of total exports of Ukraine

In November of the current year the export of agricultural products from Ukraine increased to 27.2% and reached a record $ 2.1 billion, representing nearly 53% of total exports of domestic goods, - said the NBU.

Thanks to record corn production, the volume of grain exports in November reached the highest level in history – 5.3 million tons, which in monetary terms is 1.6 times higher than in the corresponding period last year, aided by high world grain prices.

Exports of oils and fats in comparison with last year in November increased by 17.4%, primarily due to the current good crop of sunflower. High export demand, combined with the powerful processing allowed to increase the export of oil cake in 1.5 times in monetary terms.

in addition, almost 1.4 times increased the export of meat.

According to the DFS, during the first 11 months of 2018 Ukraine increased the volume of foreign trade compared to the same period in 2017 by 13% to 83,965 95,015 billion.
