The State Statistics Service updated data on grain harvesting in Ukraine as of December 1

According to the State Statistics Service, as of the beginning of this month, 54.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 10.6 million hectares in all categories of Ukrainian farms with a yield of 51.4 centners/hectare. At the same time, the gross harvest in agricultural enterprises amounted to 43.6 million tons, in households - 10.9 million tons.

In particular, as of December 1, the following was collected:

• wheat – 23.46 million tons from an area of 5.11 million hectares with a yield of 45.9 centners/hectare,
• barley – 5.3 million tons from an area of 1.38 million hectares with a yield of 38.4 centners/hectare (which corresponds to data as of November 1),
• oats – 393.3 thousand tons from an area of 137.7 thousand hectares with a yield of 28.6 centners/hectare,
• buckwheat – 77.1 thousand tons from an area of 57.2 thousand hectares with a yield of 13.4 centners/hectare,
• millet - 53.7 thousand tons from an area of 28.7 thousand hectares with a yield of 18.9 centners/hectare,
• corn - 24.15 million tons from an area of 3.44 million hectares with a yield of 70.1 centners/hectare.

Also, on the specified date, the following amount of oilseeds was harvested:

• sunflower – 9.92 million tons from an area of 5.01 million hectares with a yield of 19.8 centners/hectare,
• soybeans - 4.8 million tons from an area of 1.96 million hectares with a yield of 24.4 centners/hectare.
