Argentina can increase soybean production to 53-53.5 million tons and corn to 50-51 million tons

Argentina is one of the world's largest exporters of soybeans and grains. Sowing of corn and soybeans is now starting in the country. After a dry winter, the country experienced almost daily rains in the spring, which reached the southern regions over the weekend and improved the conditions for sowing.
According to the forecast of the Rosario exchange, in 2024/25 MR, the production of soybeans in Argentina will be 53-53.5 million tons, corn - 50-51 million tons, and wheat, the harvest of which ends in January - 18.8 million tons.
According to the USDA, in FY 2023/24, the country harvested 48 million tons of soybeans and 50 million tons of corn.
