The agrarian Committee of the Verkhovna Rada approved the draft law on organic production

the Agricultural Committee of the Verkhovna Rada agreed to the first reading of bill No. 5448 "On the basic principles and requirements for organic production, rotation and labelling of organic products.

the document was developed by a team of Minister agroprodmach T. Corner and received the support of the government.

the second reading of the bill will be modified specially established working group of experts and parliamentarians. The decision was taken today at a meeting of the Committee.

According to her, the terminology in the document harmonized with EU regulations. The bill clearly prescribes the duties and rights of all participants in the organic market. The document defines principles of state policy in relation to organic products and a mechanism that will allow you to track its origin.

According to A. Trofimova, the bill is one of the most progressive in the sphere of agrarian policy of Ukraine.
