Soldanesti Elevator built in 1976, and in 1984 conducted its large-scale reconstruction. The main activity of the branch is rendering services in taking, bringing the quality to the basic quality standards, storage and shipment of grain and oilseeds. The total service grain capacity of the subsidiary "Soldanesti Elevator" is to 112.6 thousand tons including the Elevator one – 72 thousand tons, warehouse – 40,6 thousand tons. The main storing cultures are wheat, maize, barley, rye, soy, oats, sorghum, sunflower. Capacity of the branch for receiving/shipping of grain: acceptance from rail transport – up to 700 tons/day; acceptance from motor transport – 2000 ton/day; shipment on railway transport of 1200 t/d; shipment onto trucks – 1200 tons/day.
