The milling tradition in Piratininga, according to historical data, begun in the mid-17th century. Before the great Patriotic war here there were two mills, built in 1868 and 1888. After the liberation of Pyriatyn from fascist invaders, the inhabitants of the town undertook the restoration of the city and its industrial enterprises, including mills.
