The company was founded in 1936 under the name of “Warehouse base. Post box no 5” Kyiv territorial administration of the Ministry of state food and material reserves of the USSR. The main objective of the database was to store grain in the state reserve. After a few pereimenovan 1946 and 1966 in 1998 the enterprise was reorganized into a Bread base №83. Grain activity of the enterprise provides taking, processing, drying, storage and shipment of grain of different cultures. The total service grain capacity of the branch "Grain storage №83" is 48 thousand tons. The main storing cultures are wheat, maize, barley. Capacity of the branch for receiving/shipping of grain: acceptance from rail transport – 1500 ton/day; acceptance from motor transport – 1000 ton/day; shipment on railway transport – 800 tons/day; shipping vehicles – 300 tons/day.
