A ship with wheat left the port of Chornomorsk through a temporary corridor

The ship RESILIENT AFRICA, loaded with 3,000 tons of wheat, left the port of Chornomorsk in the direction of the Bosphorus, O. Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine, said.

This is one of the two ships that were the first to enter Chornomorsk port last week through the temporary corridor for civilian ships established by the Armed Forces Navy. The second ship is now in the port loading wheat, which will be delivered to Egypt in the future.

Previously, the humanitarian corridor, established by the navigation mandate of the Armed Forces Navy, was used to evacuate ships that were in the ports of Chornomorsk, Odesa, and Pivdenny at the time of the full-scale invasion. Thus, starting from August 15, 5 ships left the Black Sea ports of Ukraine through this corridor: the container ship JOSEPH SCHULTE and the bulk carriers PRIMUS, ANNA-THERESA, OCEAN COURTESY and PUMA.
