57.6 million tons of grain and oil crops have already been harvested in Ukraine

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 19, 39.228 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were threshed in Ukraine from 8.275 million hectares or 76% of the area with an average yield of 4.74 tons/ha, in particular:

• wheat - 22.359 million tons from 4.6945 million ha or 100% of the area with a yield of 4.76 t/ha,
• corn - 9.282 million tons from 1.3767 million hectares or 34% of the area with a yield of 6.74 tons/ha,
• barley - 5.863 million tons from 1.5045 million hectares or 100% of the area with a yield of 3.9 tons/ha,
• peas - 396.8 thousand tons from 154.4 thousand hectares or 100% of the area with a yield of 2.57 tons/ha,
• buckwheat - 203.6 thousand tons from 136.6 thousand hectares or 97% of the area with a yield of 1.49 tons/ha,
• millet - 162.4 thousand tons from 77.4 thousand hectares or 93% of the area with a yield of 2.1 tons/ha,
• other grain and leguminous crops - 961.6 thousand tons from 33.2 thousand ha.

The farms of Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions threshed more than 3 million tons in each oblast, and Kyiv Oblast, Kirovohrad Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Poltava Oblast, Sumy Oblast, Cherkasy Oblast, and Khmelnytskyi threshed more than 2 million tons. Grain was completely harvested in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In addition, 18.457 million tons of oil crops were threshed from 7.395 million hectares, in particular:

• sunflower - 10.211 million tons from 4.3575 million hectares or 86% of the area with a yield of 2.34 tons/ha,
• soybeans - 4.241 million tons from 1.6414 million ha or 91% of the area with a yield of 2.58 t/ha,
• rapeseed - 4.005 million tons from 1.396 million hectares or 100% of the area with a yield of 2.87 tons/ha.

From 125.3 thousand hectares or 50% of the area, 5.912 million tons of sugar beets were dug up with a yield of 47.19 tons/ha.

In the Russian Federation, thanks to favorable weather, on October 20, 137.2 million tons of grain (in bunker weight) were harvested from 44.6 million hectares with a yield of 3.08 tons/ha (148.1 million tons from 44.5 million hectares with a yield of 3, 33 t/ha last year), in particular:

• wheat - 93.1 million tons from 28.5 million hectares with a yield of 3.26 tons/ha (104.2 million tons from 29.1 million hectares with a yield of 3.59 tons/ha last year),
• barley - 21.7 million tons from 7.8 million hectares with a yield of 2.8 tons/ha (24.3 million tons from 7.9 million hectares with a yield of 3.07 tons/ha),
• corn - 7.4 million tons from 1.1 million ha with a yield of 6.49 t/ha (5 million tons from 832.5 thousand ha with a yield of 5.96 t/ha),
• sunflower – 13.2 million t from 7.2 million ha with a yield of 1.83 t/ha (8 million t from 4.4 million ha with a yield of 1.8 t/ha),
• rapeseed - 4.3 million tons from 2 million hectares with a yield of 2.16 tons/ha (4.4 million tons from 2.1 million hectares with a yield of 2.1 tons/ha),
• soybeans - 5.5 million tons from 2.6 million hectares with a yield of 2.08 tons/ha (3.7 million tons from 1.9 million hectares with a yield of 1.91 tons/ha),
• sugar beets - 35.9 million tons from 753.1 thousand tons with a yield of 47.73 tons/ha (26.7 million tons from 594.2 thousand hectares with a yield of 45.01 tons/ha).
