In 2018 the amount of state support for farmers will increase

the Draft state budget for 2018 provided increased financial support for farmers to 7.3 billion against UAH 6.3 billion in 2017.

During the presentation of the draft budget. Groisman said that to support crop production (including berry production) and livestock will be allocated 2 billion UAH. 1 billion UAH will be allocated for payment 20% payment of value of purchased by farmers of agricultural machinery of domestic production.

In addition, the draft state budget envisages allocation of UAH 300 million for compensation to farmers loan rates, UAH 65 million for lending to farmers 170 million UAH for the development of livestock, 75 million UAH to support hop-growing, viticulture, berries farming and the creation of new gardens, UAH 550 million on the depreciation of agricultural machinery and 287,8 million UAH for the development of other programs of support and development of the agricultural sector.
