The Government of Ukraine has expanded the list of state support programs

In 2024, the Government of Ukraine will strengthen aid to farmers by expanding the list of state support programs, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reports.

Thus, at a meeting with the heads of territorial communities and heads of agro-industrial complexes of the Chernivtsi region, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy T. Vysotskyi said that in 2024 the following support programs for agricultural producers will operate:

• "Available loans 5-7-9", according to which agricultural producers can receive up to UAH 90 million of credit, and processing enterprises - up to UAH 150 million.
• Guarantees for loans through the Fund for partial guarantees of loans in agriculture for farmers cultivating up to 500 hectares, including gardeners. The program will help producers to halve the loan collateral.
• Grants for the development of gardens up to UAH 7 million and greenhouses up to UAH 10 million, which are paid within a month after the project is approved.
• Compensation of up to 50% of the cost of restoration or construction of land reclamation systems, in particular the laying of pipes, drainage equipment and sprinkler systems, for which UAH 200 million has been allocated in the 2024 budget.
• Compensation of up to 25% of the cost of domestically produced agricultural machinery, which will start in April 2024.

In addition, 8 billion euros received under the Ukraine Facility program from the EU will be directed to support Ukrainian business, in particular the agricultural sector.
