Ukraine canceled the licensing of rye, oats and millet exports

The Government of Ukraine canceled the export licensing of rye, millet and oats by Resolution No. 472 "On Amendments to Annex 5 to Resolution No. 1466 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 27.12.2022" at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reported yesterday.

This resolution also cancels export licensing of certain types of livestock products - live cattle, frozen cattle meat, domestic chicken meat, meat and edible meat offal, salted or in brine, dried or smoked, edible flour from meat or meat offal, meat of cattle, eggs of domestic chickens.

This resolution was developed after numerous appeals to the authorities of industry and profile associations with a request to cancel the licensing of certain export items. The adopted decision will allow to optimize the export of agricultural products from Ukraine and increase foreign exchange revenue.

"The changes introduced by the resolution will not affect the volume of offers on the domestic market of Ukraine, as domestic producers will be able to sufficiently meet the needs in the production of all types of meat," the ministry says.
