Ukraine is working on restoring exports without the participation of the Russian Federation

Ukraine offered Turkey to resume the work of the "grain corridor" without the participation of the Russian Federation, - said the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey V. Bodnar.

"There is still no final answer, but since the ships already pass through the territorial waters of Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey without restrictions, this path is quite real," the ambassador said.

He reminded that during the validity of the agreement, the Russian Federation restricted the movement of ships to the ports of Ukraine and the list of products allowed for export. Therefore, the absence of export restrictions for ships moving along the grain corridor can become the basis for settling the situation.

Currently, Ukraine is discussing the results of the negotiations with the UN and Turkey in order to develop an agreed position, and is waiting for communication with Istanbul at the highest level to understand how to proceed. However, Ukraine's position regarding the lifting of sanctions against the Russian Federation remains unchanged - this is unacceptable.

The Lloyd's company has stated that it will not insure ships with Ukrainian grain until their route is approved by the UN, but another major insurer, Beazley, is insuring them even now.

Lloyd's communicates with the participants of the Ukrainian market and tries to help them and is currently studying an alternative route, which several ships have already taken, and not only with grain - close to the shore, as Russian warships do not dare to approach there, and then through the territorial waters of Romania and Bulgaria.

Beazley CEO Adrian Cox confirmed to Reuters that his company is present in the Ukrainian market and is ready to insure flights to resume the movement of ships.
