In July, Ukraine continued to increase the export of sunflower oil

Ukraine continues to increase the export of sunflower oil, and if 453,000 tons were shipped in May, 476,000 tons in June, then in July deliveries amounted to more than 500,000 tons, which significantly exceeded expectations caused by forecasts of a sharp reduction in sunflower stocks in the country. The main buyers of Ukrainian sunflower oil in July were Romania (which bought almost a quarter of the exported volume) and India.

In total, in 2022/23 MR Ukraine exported 5.2 million tons of sunflower oil compared to 4.1 million tons in the same period of the previous season.
