Grain prices have stopped rising and demand for wheat is limited

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine has started issuing licenses for wheat exports of up to 2 million tons, and now licenses for 300 thousand tons have been issued, SPIKE BROKERS reports on its Telegram page.

As of April 20, in the least congested direction on the basis of DAP-Constanta (Romania), where more than 3,000 cars are currently concentrated at the border, corn was offered at a price of € 275-280 / t. There are 12,000 loaded cars on the Polish border, so trade in that direction is less liquid.

Demand prices for deliveries in May on the basis of DAP-border remain in the range of $ 245-255 / t, on DAP-Reni with fast delivery (April) - up to $ 255 / t.

According to traders, the demand for wheat is quite restrained. On the basis of FOB - Constanta, it is traded at $ 390-400 / t, the price parity for DAP - Constanta is +/- 380 $ / t.

Ukrainian processors buy wheat on the basis of DAP - a plant at a price of 7000-7500 UAH / t.

During April 20, sunflower on the basis of CIF-Turkey traded at 850-880 $ / t, while in Romania the demand prices for ordinary sunflower remain at 710-745 $ / t DAP.

Dump trucks are the most in demand due to the premium for ease of unloading. The premium for high-oleic sunflower has dropped to $ 40 / t, traders say.
