From January to November 2023, the ports of Ukraine handled 52.8 million tons of cargo (compared to 45.6 million tons during this period last year), including 47.9 million tons of export cargo and 4.6 million tons of imported cargo, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported on meetings with heads of diplomatic missions and the public.

In addition, this year, 23 new terminals and 20 points for transshipment of goods were opened in the Danube ports, as well as improvements were made to the passage of ships in the dark.

"With the support of the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Black Sea Corridor became operational on August 10, thanks to which, as of November 30, the ports of Great Odesa handled 6.4 million tons of cargo," they reported. in AMPU.

We will remind that in November, export shipments of agricultural products by water transport increased to the highest level since April 2023, 4.3 million tons, of which 2.7 million tons were shipped through the ports of the Black Sea and 1.6 million tons - through the ports of the Danube.
