The terrorist country of the Russian Federation again attacked the ports of Izmail and Reni with drones in order to raise world grain prices

On the night of August 16, the Russian Federation again attacked the Danube ports of Reni and Izmail with Iranian Shahed attack drones, which were launched in two waves and moved from the Black Sea through the mouth of the Danube along the same route as the previous ones.

The Air Force of Ukraine warned about the threat of missile strikes, in particular of the ballistic type, and the enemy's use of "Shakhed" attack drones. Military air defense systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine worked on enemy targets, explosions were heard in the region.

The head of Odesa OVA, O. Kiper, emphasized "the need for residents of the Izmail district to stay in shelters and not to film or post air defense work on the Internet."

Information about explosions in the Odesa region, which may be the result of air defense, as well as about a fire in Reni, appeared in the local media. However, there is no official information yet.

The night attack was another attempt to block the export of Ukrainian grain from the Danube ports, which currently remain Ukraine's main export gateway. After the previous attacks, world wheat prices rose from $230-235/t FOB to $250-260/t FOB. And now the Russian Federation continues to terrorize the world with a food crisis and earn additional profits for waging war.
