India increased palm oil imports to a 3-month high in November

According to the Solvent Extraction Association of India (SEA), in November compared to October, India increased palm oil imports by 23% to a 3-month high of 869.5 thousand tons, reports Hellenic Shipping News.

In addition, soybean oil imports in November also rose by 10.8% to 149.9 thousand tons, while sunflower oil imports decreased by 16.3% to 128.7 thousand tons, which was the lowest figure in the last 17 months.

According to SEA estimates, domestic stocks of vegetable oils in India as of December 1 this year amounted to 2.96 million tons, while on November 1 they reached 3.14 million tons.
