The harvesting campaign in Ukraine is accelerating
As of 7 October, Ukrainian agrarians have threshed 1.3 million hectares sown with maize, which is 31% of the total, and collected 7.1 million tons of grain with an average yield of 5.43t/ha (in 2015, it was 4.84 t/ha).

- Odessa – 4.1 million tons,
- Dnepropetrovsk – 3.1 million tons,
- Kharkiv – 2.9 million tons,
- Mykolaiv – 2.8 million tons,
- Zaporozhye to 2.6 million tons.
the Highest yield of grain recorded:
- in Vinnytsia region – 5.88 t/ha
- Cherkasy – 5.69 t/ha,
- Khmelnytskyi and 5.45 t/ha,
- Kiev – 5.28 t/ha.
Sunflower harvested from 4.4 million hectares (74% of the planned 5.9 million ha) 9.5 million with a yield of 2.18 t/ha. In 2015, the harvest was 9.0 million tons, and the yield of 2.12 t/ha.
Soybeans threshed 1.2 million hectares or 65% of the plan. The harvest is 2.6 million tons and a yield of 2.16 t/ha. last year, these figures were 2.6 million tonnes and 1.73 t/ha, respectively.
Sugar beets dug for 37% of the planned area, which is 108 t. ha. Yield is 4.9 million tons versus 3.1 million tons in 2015, and the yield increased from 40.0 t/ha to 45.7 t/ha.
