The final grain yield in Ukraine will be higher than last year

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of November 23, 55.053 million tons of grain were threshed in Ukraine from 10.237 million hectares or 94% of the area with a yield of 5.38 tons/ha, while last year on this date from 9.2 million hectares or 82% of the area was harvested 40.1 million tons of grain with a yield of 4.37 tons/ha. And the total gross harvest of grain and oil crops in Ukraine reached 75.763 million tons.

Yes, on the specified date:

• wheat - 22.4 million tons with a yield of 4.77 t/ha (last year 19.4 million tons with a yield of 4.12 t/ha) from 4.7 million hectares or 100% of the area,
• barley - 5.89 (5.6) million tons with a yield of 3.92 (3.51) tons/ha from 1.5 million ha,
• peas - 398 thousand tons with a yield of 2.58 (2.34) tons/ha from 154.4 thousand ha,
• corn - 24.88 (13.5) million tons with a yield of 7.48 (6.01) tons/ha from 3.33 million hectares or 82% of the area,
• buckwheat - 207.4 (156) thousand tons with a yield of 1.48 (1.37) tons/ha from 139.7 thousand ha or 99% of the area,
• millet - 180 (98) thousand t with a yield of 2.26 (2.31) t/ha from 79.5 thousand ha or 95% of the area,
• sunflower - 11.93 (9.8) million tons with a yield of 2.38 (2.17) tons/ha from 5 million hectares or 99% of the area,
• soybeans - 4.77 (3.6) million tons with a yield of 2.65 (2.41) tons/ha from 1.8 million ha or 99% of the area.

In addition, 11.08 million tons of sugar beets were harvested from 236.3 thousand hectares or 95% of the area with a yield of 46.91 tons/ha.

In the Russian Federation on November 24, 146.3 million tons of grain in bunker weight were collected (155 million tons last year), in particular, grain and leguminous crops were threshed on 46.3 (45.9) million hectares, and their yield was 3.16 (3. 38) t/ha.

• wheat - from 94.7 (105.2) million tons with a yield of 3.26 (3.6) tons/ha from 29 (29.3) million ha,
• barley - 22 (24.5) million tons with a yield of 2.81 (3.08) tons/ha from 7.8 (8) million ha,
• corn - 14.3 (10.2) million tons with a yield of 7.14 (5.93) tons/ha from 2 (1.7) million ha,
• sunflower - 16.1 (13.3) million tons with a yield of 1.83 (1.81) t/ha from 8.8 (7.3) million ha,
• rapeseed - 4.4 (4.7) million tons with a yield of 2.15 (2.09) tons/ha from 2 (2.2) million ha,
• soybeans - 6.9 (6) million tons with a yield of 1.99 (1.89) tons/ha from 3.5 (3.2) million ha.
