Increased the forecast of grain exports from Ukraine

According to preliminary forecasts of analysts, in the season 2016/17 MG domestic farmers will be able to export 43,7 million tons of grain, in particular:

• 20.9 million tons of corn,
• 16.5 MMT of wheat,
• 5.3 million tonnes of barley.

the Main consumers of Russian grain are the countries of Africa and Asia. Thus, the Ukrainian wheat are more likely to buy, Egypt and Indonesia, barley – Saudi Arabia and the maize are interested in China and Egypt.

According to the state statistics service, in July-December 2016, Ukraine has exported 23.3 million tonnes of grain and products of their processing, which is 6.4% higher than in the same period in 2015.

• Wheat sold 11.9 million tons, which is 10.5% higher than the end of 2015
• of Barley exported 10.4% more or 4.4 million tons.
• corn Exports decreased by 1.7% to 6.9 million tonnes.

Recall that in 2015/16, Ukraine exported 39,4 million tons of grain, surpassing its previous record of the season 2014/15 at 34.8 million tonnes.
