The purchase price of the Egyptian tender was almost unchanged

the Ukrainian at a price of 199 $/t FOB.

U.S. wheat of participation in the auctions not taken because of the high cost of grain and freight.
In the end, GASC has purchased the following quantities of grain delivery 22-31 July:
60 KMT of Romanian wheat from company Cerealcom at a price of $198/t FOB Constanta + 12,45 freight $/t = 210,45 $/t CFR,
55 KMT of Russian wheat from Daewoo for the price of 196,16 $/t FOB Novorossiysk + freight of 13.93 $/t = 210,09 $/t CFR,
55 KMT of Russian wheat from Glencore at a price 196,86 $/t FOB Novorossiysk + freight of 14.35 $/t = 211,21 $/t CFR.
- 120 thousand tons of Romanian wheat from Ameropa company at a price of $198/t FOB Constanta + 12,45 freight $/t = 210,45 $/t CFR,
Despite a slight decline in market prices for wheat, the purchase price of the tender on FOB basis remained at the level of last week, but the freight cost rose 1.25 $/t, so the final price in the port of destination also increased.
According to the customs service, during 2-12 June to Egyptian ports was delivered 314,8 thousand tons of wheat that almost matches the corresponding figure for the previous month - 308,2 thousand tons.
According to the forecast of experts of the UN FAO, in 2019 Egypt may collect 9.2 million MT of wheat, which is 5% higher than the harvest in 2018, and will slightly exceed the average of the last few years. Will increase production by expanding acreage, favorable winter conditions and improve seed quality.
