In January, Ukraine significantly increased the exports of flax seeds.

According to official statistics, in January 2017, Ukraine supplied to foreign markets 12.3 thousand tons of seeds of oil flax, which is 1.5 times higher than in the previous month (8 thousand tons), 3.8 times the results of the same period last year (3.3 thousand tons) and was the highest value over the past 10 seasons.

In January, all the main countries-buyers have increased purchasing volumes of the oilseed. Most of the increased purchase of Turkey by purchasing 2.9 thousand tons versus 88 tons in December 2016 and 42 tons in January 2016. In the overall ranking it ranks second. Remains the leader of Vietnam, he has acquired a 6.1 per thousand tons of flax seeds against 5,3 thousand tons in December and 2.2 thousand tons in January 2016.

During September-January 2016/17 MG Ukraine sold on world markets of 33.8 thousand tons of flax, 50% higher than the same period 2015/16, when it was sold is 22.6 thousand tons.
