In the 2017/18 season, Ukraine exported 2.9 million tons of grain less than last MG

With the start of the 2017/18 season, Ukraine exported more than 34 million tons of grain, including 15.1 million tonnes of wheat (including food and 8.7 million tons, forage – 6.4 MT), 14 million tons of corn and 4 million tons of barley, according to Directoryslash.

Over the same period last MG was exported 36.9 million tonnes of grain, including 15.6 million tons of wheat (food – 10 million tons of feed of 5.6 million tons), 15.7 million tons of corn and 5.1 million tonnes of barley.

In comparison with the previous season, Ukraine doubled exports of peas, which during July-March 2017/18 MG was implemented 659,2 thousand tons.

in addition, in the current season the exports of rapeseed in comparison with the corresponding period of the previous year grew from 1 million tons to 2.1 million tons, and soybean exports fell from 2.7 million tons to 2.5 million tons of Total oilseed exports increased from 3.9 million tons to 4.6 million tons.

As of 18 April, Russia in the season 2017/18 compared to the same period of the previous MG increased grain exports by 41.9% 29,789 million tonnes to 42,283 million tons, informs the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

in Particular, wheat exports increased by 43.3 percent to 32,961 million tons, maize by 5% to 4,353 million tons, barley – by almost two times to 4.69 million tons.
