In the 2016/17 season my Ukraine exported more than 8.3 million tons of grain

Ministry of agrarian policy of Ukraine estimates the actual quantity exported in the season 2016/17 MG as of September 15 grain 8,324 million, including:

• wheat 5.05 million tone,
• barley 2,662 tons,
• corn 583 thousand tons,
• other grains 29 thousand tons.

in addition, on a specified date exported approximately 64,5 thousand tons of flour.

New season just in the month of July, it exported a record quantity of peas – about 94 thousand tons, whereas in July 2015, the figure was only 17.5 thousand tons.

the Share of the Indian market has traditionally made up a large part of export shipments. India has acquired 65% of domestic peas, setting a record for imports of goods during the month.

Significantly increased the purchase of peas, Turkey, which imported during July to 11.8 thousand tons of this culture, whereas throughout the season 2015/16 was purchased only 2 thousand tons of peas. For Turkey it is the largest volume of purchases over the past five seasons.

a Constant buyer of Russian peas continues to be Pakistan.

In this season, Ukraine had the largest over the last 20 years harvest peas – more than 750 thousand tons. Experts estimate the export potential of this crop in 2016/17 MG level ranges from 520 to 540 thousand tons.
