Ukraine increases export of grain and flour

Since the beginning of the 2016/17 MG as of 6 January 2017 Ukraine exported 23.07 million tons of grain, the Ministry agroprodmach.

On that date in external markets implemented:

4.33 million tonnes of barley.

• 11.5 million tons of wheat,
• 7.13 million ton of corn,

in addition, at that date it was exported of 169.7 thousand tons of flour, which at 16.9 million tonnes higher than in the same period last year.

As reported earlier, the Ministry of agrarian policy, in the season 2015/16, Ukraine exported 39,487 million tons of grain, which is 13.5% higher than the current season. Ministry estimates total grain exports in the season 2016/17 MG may be 40 million tons.

Export of wheat flour in season 2016/17 MG amounted to 169.1 thousand tons, which is 17,7 thousand tons higher than in the same period last year. During this period the exports of flour from other varieties amounted to 0.6 thousand tons.

During 1-6 January 2017 exported 0,2 thousand tons of flour.

Recall that for 4 months of the 2016/17 season, my Ukraine exported to the DPRK of 56.6 thousand tons of flour, representing 42.3% of the total volume of domestic exports of flour.
