In 2019 the production of sugar in Ukraine is significantly reduced

According to analysts in Ukraine in 2019/20 MG sugar production will be reduced in comparison with the previous season by 30% to 1.1-1.2 million tonnes. According to NASU "Ukrtsukor", the acreage under sugar beet in 2019 was reduced by a quarter. Experts pointed out that the 2019-2020 marketing year may be one of the most challenging for the sugar market of Ukraine for the past couple of years.
