The rate of harvest of grain in Kazakhstan and Siberia twice lower than last year

In Russia as of 11 September, from 31.4 million ha (67.5% of the areas) produced by 86.5 million tons of grain and legumes with an average yield of 2.76 t/ha, 4.5 t/ha inferior to the same date in 2017. The most slowly is the harvest in the Siberian Federal district, where threshed only 19.5% of crops compared with 55% on this date last year.

In Ukraine, as of 10 September, from 10.1 million hectares (68% of the area) produced 35.4 million tons of grain and legumes with an average yield of 3.48 t/ha, in particular:

147 thousand hectares (3%) collected 824 thousand tons of corn with a yield of 5.63 t/ha.

• from 9.9 million hectares collected 34.3 million tons of early grain and leguminous crops with the yield of 3.48 t/ha,

181 thousand hectares (11%) soybeans 431 thousand t with productivity of 2.37 t/ha,

1 million hectares of rapeseed 2.7 million tons with a yield of 2.61 t/ha.
