Prices supports demand for barley by Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia at the regular tender, bought 1,002 million MT of feed barley production in North and South America, the EU and the black sea region, Australia.

But if the tender of the main suppliers was the black sea countries, now the grain is purchased mainly from Australia, EU and Canada.

After rapid growth early in the season barley prices remain at the level of prices for food wheat, despite a record global crop of feed grains. The main factor supporting prices was the reduction of barley production in Ukraine by 2.5 million tonnes compared to last year.

due to the lack of significant proposals, the domestic demand for barley decreases somewhat, but the prices at the port remain at the level of 168 to 171 $/t
