Prices for soybeans continue to grow

the increased demand for soybeans in world markets at the end of 2016 led to higher prices for oilseeds. So, on the stock exchange in Chicago from 3 to 19 January, the price of soybeans has increased from 365 to 394,95 $/t today is 387,09 $/ton.

According to the Oil World analysts, in December 2016, the exports of the largest soybean producing countries (USA, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay) increased by 1.01 million tons and reached a record for the month to 8.6 million.

in addition, the processing of soybean in these countries in December 2016 rose to the highest for this time of 11.03 million tons, up 890 thousand tons higher than in December 2015.

Demand for soybeans of Ukrainian production remains high. In export expectations of 2.5-2.7 million tons during September-December 2016 Ukraine exported over 1.1 million tons of soybeans.

After prices on world markets, the price of Ukrainian soybeans are also growing, however it has reached the level 375-376 $/ton for deliveries CPT-port.

Due to the increase in currency prices and the devaluation of the national currency hryvnia prices increased by 200-400 UAH/ton.

• 11800-11900 UAH/t on the basis CPT-port,
• 11500-11700 UAH/t with delivery to the factory
• 11100-11400 UAH/t on inland  elevators.
