In 2017/18, the export of grain from Russia reaches 50 million tons, and from Ukraine - 39 million tons

In season 2017/18 as at 13 June Ukraine exported 38,15 million tons of grain, of 4.18 million tonnes lower than the level of the corresponding period of the previous my, according to the agriculture Ministry.

In comparison with the previous season, decreased export:

barley, 1.05 mln tonnes to 4.21 million MT,

corn by 2.57 million tonnes to 17.12 million tons.

• wheat 480 thousand MT to 16,61 million tons,

Rye was exported 36,8 thousand tons.

During July-may 2017/18 MG in comparison with the same period last my Ukraine increased exports of wheat bran at 10% to 567,1 thousand tons, flour – by 45.1 thousand tons to 412 thousand tons.

domestic Exports of oilseed meals and AMV in the current season amounted to 3.85 million tonnes, which became the second volume and only 5% inferior to the record 2016/17 MG.

In comparison with the previous season, decreased export:

rapeseed meal/cake in 7% to 44 thousand tons,

linseed cake and meal by 13% up to 10 thousand tons.

• sunflower cake and meal at 6% to 3.5 million tonnes,

the export of soybean cake and meal increased by 12% to 280 thousand tons.

In the new season due to dry weather the production of wheat and barley in Ukraine will be reduced, which will lead to a decrease in exports. Experts UkrAgroConsult reduced for wheat production forecast by 3% to 25 million tons and export 1 million tonnes to 16 million tonnes, and barley – production forecast by 4% to 7.1 mln t and exports by 300 thousand tonnes to 3.7 million tonnes, although analysts while USDA left its estimates unchanged.

Russia as of June 6, exported 49.7 million tons of grain (excluding deliveries to the EEU), which is 47% higher than in 2017
